The goal of white supremacist capitalist heteropatriarchy is to make people of color, poor folk, queers, and women despise themselves and each other and, in effect, destroy themselves and each other so that WSCH doesn’t have to get its hands dirty. So far, the project has been a complete and utter success.

The reason I have a problem with the “die cis scum” thing that’s been debated recently is not because of the feelings of cis people — because honestly, I don’t really give a crap about that. The reason I have a problem with it is because you can’t endorse violence. I’m baffled that there’s even a question about whether or not a phrase like this is appropriate. I mean, this is something that seems to be brought up in discourse every. Single. Day. You cannot endorse violence. You can’t. That’s it. People on tumblr and in discourse outside of the internet are reprimanded for it all the time, and for good reason. Yet do it in this case and people are suddenly being accused of hating trans* people? Nuh-uh.
It appears that the OP fails to realize that the vast majority of the time someone replies to a cis individual with “die cis scum” it is because said individual is either dehumanizing trans* folk and/or implying that trans* folk deserve violence (if not worse).
When one is being dehumanized they are being told that they aren’t worth basic human rights, that they aren’t worthy of being allowed to live.
Saying “die cis scum” is a form of verbal self defense. It is stating to the cis individual that their dehumanization of trans* folk -their implied violence- will be responded to in kind. Just like in real life situations if someone were to come up to an individual with the intent to harm or kill then that individual has the right to defend themselves.
If anyone is endorsing violence it is those that believe they have a right to dehumanize trans* folk, not the trans* folk that are trying to survive in spite of being dehumanized.

Radscum In Their Own Damned Actions
[trigger warning: cissexism, transphobia]
Radscum have never restricted their attacks on the lives of trans women to the theoretical, nor have they ever hesitated to threaten the lives and livelihoods of any trans woman who dares stand up to them.
- Mary Daly repeatedly sent death threats to Beth Elliott for being involved with the Daughters of Bilitis and ultimately succeeded in having Beth expelled from the organization for being a trans woman.
- Janice Raymond dedicated an entire chaper of her book to outing and attacking Sandy Stone, a member of the Olivia Records women’s music collective (and the collective’s only sound engineer). When she discovered that outing Sandy was moot because Sandy was already out and the collective stood by her, Raymond threatened to organize a boycott against Olivia Records. Sandy had to resign to save the collective from Raymond.
- Germaine Greer launched a campaign of character assassination against Dr. Rachel Padman after Cambridge University’s Newnham College elected her as a postdoctorate fellow. Fortunately, Greer’s grossly unprofessional behavior backfired on her; she did not succeed in blocking Dr. Padman’s fellowship, and the negative publicity attracted by her hate campaign ultimately forced her to resign.
If you thought they could sink no lower than publishing the hate screeds I previously cited… unfortunately they could, and did. Again, this is why we call them radscum.
Btw, radscum currently have a website (which I refuse to link and I suggest you use a proxy to view if you’re really willing to fuck up your day that much) called pretendbians (some irony since they advocate appropriative “political lesbianism”) where they dox and publish the personal information, pictures, addresses, irl names of trans women, exposing them to violence and harassment.
And you know that a trans woman being of color won’t stop these fuckers (in fact I think there’s at least one twoc on that site now although I’m not sure of that) which means they are ACTIVELY enabling violent murders against trans women of color.
Digest this for a second. These privileged soulless husks are completely okay with exercising their privilege in a way that will, not just can, WILL get people killed.
Radscum is too nice a word for them. There isn’t words to express how truly evil and vile and worthless radscum are. Radscum barely touches the surface.

These are graph from “Injustice at Every Turn” showing rate of sexual assault in jail/prison. The first graph is the rates of sexual assaults for trans women by race. The rates break down as follows:
- Nineteen percent of all trans women who went to jail/prison
- Thirty-eight percent of Black trans women
- Thirty percent of America Indians trans women
- Twenty-five percent of trans Latinas
- Twenty-four percent of multiracial trans women
- Twelve percent of White trans women
- Too small of a sample to report for Asian Pacific Islander trans women
According to “Injustice at Every Turn,” a report of institutionalized discrimination against trans people: “Transgender women of color were particularly vulnerable to sexual assault in jail/prison. Thirty-eight percent (38%) of Black [trans women] respondents reported being sexually assaulted by either another inmate or a staff member in jail/prison.”
Multiracial, Latina, Black and American Indian trans women are twice to more then three times as likely as White trans women to be sexually assaulted in prison.
This is the only statistic in the report that simultaneously accounts for both the race and gender of participants. Taken by themselves trans women and trans people of color experience higher rates of discrimination than trans men, nonbinary and white trans people.
The second graph shows sexual assault rates in prison/jail by gender. The rates are for trans women:
- Eighteen percent by inmates
- Seven percent by staff
- Twenty percent by anyone
For trans men:
- Two percent by inmates
- Four percent by staff
- Six percent by anyone
For all trans people:
- Fourteen percent by inmates
- Seven percent by staff
- Sixteen percent by anyone
Gender nonconforming people:
- Six percent by inmates
- Four percent by staff
- Eight percent by anyone
Trans women in jail/prison are three to nine times as likely to be sexually assaulted by inmates, nearly twice as likely to be sexually assaulted by staff, and about three (2.5 - 3.33) times as likely to be sexually assaulted by anyone when compared to trans men and gender nonconforming people in jail/prison.
The third graph shows sexual assault rates in prison/jail by race. These break down for all trans people who went to jail/prison:
- Thirteen percent by inmates
- Six percent by staff
- Fifteen percent by anyone
American Indians (sample size too small for reliable analysis):
- Twenty-seven percent by inmates
- Eighteen percent by staff
- Twenty-seven percent by anyone
Asian Pacific Islander (sample size too small for reliable analysis):
- Six percent by inmates
- Six percent by staff
- Eleven percent by anyone
Black:
- Thirty-two percent by inmates
- Nine percent by staff
- Thirty-four percent by anyone
Latin@:
- Twenty-one percent by inmates
- Seven percent by staff
- Twenty-four percent by anyone
White:
- Seven percent by inmates
- Four percent by staff
- Nine percent by anyone
Multiracial:
- Fourteen percent by inmates
- Eight percent by staff
- Sixteen percent by anyone
With a similar break down to that of the first graph showing race and gender, trans people of color in jail/prison are significantly more likely to be sexually assaulted when compared to White trans people in jail/prison.

PSA post to my fellow feminists
trans*women can’t appropriate a woman’s identity
why?
because they are women.
Maybe this needs repeating- but being a woman transcends your genitalia or your chromosomes. Being a woman is how you identify. That’s it. That’s all it takes to identify as a woman. If you know in your heart of hearts that you are a woman- that’s all it is.
So don’t be that douche bag that has the audacity to degrade a transwoman or demand her to prove her womanhood. She owes you no explanation.
Now if you really are a feminist, you will defend her existence to the death and ensure that she always has a safe space and voice with in the movement.

Update: 11 year old trans girl lost appeal
The above article is an update. Her mother went to appeal to keep her out of the psychiatric ward and lost. She will be institutionalized because of her expression of her gender. She will be held until she conforms to male gender and then released to foster care, not her mother who was supporting her.
Please, if you haven’t signed the petition, sign it, reblog it, ask your friends to sign it. We’ve managed to get 40K signatures for a pageant model, we’ve only gotten 11K for a little girl about to have her life ruined. Lets get on the ball and spread the word.
I want to throw up. I’m so fucking angry. Sign this shit.
signal boost because this is one of the most disgusting occurances invloving a child i have ever heard of. please sign it.Sign this. It will take you 5 seconds. A CHILD is about to be institutionalised because her gender does not match the one society has assigned to her. INSTITUTIONALISED.

PETITION TO REINSTATE JENNA TALACKOVA AS MISS UNIVERSE CANADA CONTESTANT
Ms. Talackova has been disqualified from the Miss Universe Canada contest solely for being transgender. This is discriminatory, unjust, and quite frankly disgusting. She is a woman and deserves to be treated as any other woman would be. What kind of genitals she was or was not born with (and even what kind of genitals she has today) is completely irrelevant. This petition is to get her reinstated as a contestant, since she was unfairly disqualified.

A call to end police brutality against transgender women
Kuwaiti police have tortured and sexually abused transgender women using a discriminatory law, passed in 2007, which arbitrarily criminalizes “imitating the opposite sex,” Human Rights Watch said in a report released today. The government of Kuwait should repeal the law, article 198 as amended in 2007, and hold police officers accountable for misconduct.
The 63-page report, “‘They Hunt us Down for Fun’: Discrimination and Police Violence Against Transgender Women in Kuwait,” documents the physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and persecution that transgender women – individuals who are born male, but identify as female – have faced at the hands of police. The report also documents the discrimination that transgender women have faced on a daily basis – including by members of the public – as a result of the law, an amendment to penal code article 198. Based on interviews with 40 transgender women, as well as with ministry of interior officials, lawyers, doctors, and members of Kuwaiti civil society, the report found that the arbitrary, ill-defined provisions of the law has allowed for numerous abuses to take place.why does this have no notes

TW: VARIOUS SLURS, and the reactions they cause, rape culture, anti-semitism
When you call me a bitch you remind me of the fact that my anger is never seen as justified.
When you call me a kike I’m reminded of the fact that my relatives were slaughtered, and Jews are still not seen as human by many. And you remind me of the boy in my history class who said teaching the holocaust is pointless
When you call me a slut you remind me that my rapes are not taken seriously.
When you say ‘thats so gay’ you remind me that people think we’re weird and wrong.
When you say retard, I’m reminded of all the people who think I should try harder not to be autistic. And that when a parent kills their developmentally disabled child it’s seen as understandable.
When you call me fat you bring back all the pain of the people at school who spat on me and all the drunken jackasses who told me I look pregnant when I’m out trying to enjoy myself.
When you say you ‘raped at playstation’ you remind me that rape is a joke, that my trauma is a punchline.
When you call me a sponge you invalidate my disabilities and you ignore all the societal problems in place that make it really hard for a poor chubby autistic trans person to get education and employment.
When you say ‘tranny’ you ignore the fact that trans people are more likely to be raped and murdered, and you invalidate my experiences and identity.
When you say crazy, you make me remember that my metal health problems are a joke.
When you say someone is a ‘grammar nazi’ or think Hitler costumes are fun, you remind me that the genocide of my relatives isn’t taken seriously.
When you call me ‘attention seeking’ because of my gender ID or my autism or my mental health stuff, you make me want to stay inside and never speak, because you remind me that I’m unimportant, that my struggles are worthless.
It’s not a violation of your free speech to tell you these words are harmful and wrong. It’s not language policing or PC gone mad to ask you to not to hurt me deeply by saying these things. It’s not over the top to say that these words and phrases have an affect of society’s perception of people. Because they do. This idea we have of ‘bitches’ and ‘sluts’ and ‘retards’ and ‘kikes’ means people take me less seriously. It means people see me as less than human. A man once punched me. He said he doesn’t hit women but because he sees me as a slut, he sees me as less than human. And you use that word as an insult?
These words make kids with developmental disorders grow up thinking they’re broken, they make young women and people read as women feel they aren’t allowed to be sexual, they make Jewish kids hide it to avoid being the Borat-based punchline, they make rape victims keep quiet and rape juries vote not guilty. They make those with mental health issues feel isolated. They cause violence against LGBT folk. They make kids afraid to come out.
So no, I don’t give a damn about your bullshit ‘freedom of speech’ ideals when it comes to slurs. Freedom of speech protects you from government censorship. It does not give you carte blanch to be a disgusting person. And I don’t care that ‘this is the internet’. I don’t wanna ‘stop being so sensitive’. I want you to stop being an ignorant asshole and pretending these words are fine, that slurs are acceptable. You’re not some wonderful maverick fighting the power by using these words. You’re another asshole keeping the status quo alive.
Emphasis mine. This is absolutely beautiful.
wow
